VDWhorses is based on the Lilium (by Eros) mareline of STV dressagehorses and traces back to the foundation mare Hestia (by Declamator-Gambo). Like STV dressagehorses VDWhorses is breeding Dutch quality warmblood horses for horseback riding or horse riding on a small scale. The STV dressage riding horses are real quality riding horses that are famous all over the world for their dressage performance. The sire of Nayade STV Argus (by Pion) is well known in the USA and Canada as an international Grand Prix show jumping riding horse as well as an international dressage riding horse. Eros x Centurio x Orlando Variant is by Afrikaner xx Lilium /keur, 2x pref, prest, chestnut and born 1970. Lilium is 100% gelders and one of the 3 foundation mares of Stoeterij 't Vierspan. She gave birth of 6 female and 9 male foals of which Variant (Afrikaner xx) is most well know. Two other Lilium stallions, Briliant (Uniform) and Good Luck STV (Uniform) reached the second round of the KWPN stallion selection. The 3 predicate Lilium mares are Tamonia /ster, prest (Afrikaner-xx), Diamant STV /keur, pref, prest, sport (dres) (Uniform) and Jade STV /keur (Uniform). The other Lilium offspring are Zeplin (Ivanhoe), Admiraal (Lt. Generaal), Emerald (Zuidpool), Forever (Kaiserstern xx), H...(Uniform), Ivoor (Uniform), Koraal STV (Gregor), Lazuriet STV (Gregor) and finally Magna STV (Gregors)
Diamant STV produced Mozaiek STV (Iglesias) who was selected for the World Championship of young dressage horses at Arnhem in 1999. Tamonia produced Hattrick (Uniform) and Jerssey (Uniform) both performing on national dressage level. In the summer of 2002 a son (Donnerhall) of Diamant STV was appointed for the KWPN stallion performance test at Ermelo.
Performance:
Lilium herself was performing very well, that is to say she was 3x Champion of best moving riding horses in N-B, 3x one of the best 10 under saddle at C.H.I.O. Rotterdam and Champion of best moving breeding mares.
